I severely love this entire sequence. It is gorgeous. Also Xiao. Xiao saves uuuussssss. The fucking laser beam is both grand and hilarious. Osial’s retaliation looks awesome. In the old sense of this makes one look on in awe and reverence. Not our desensitized awesome. Also the fact that Ningguang just yeets the Jade Palace at Osial tickles me pink. Its parallels Rex Lapis yeeting enormous stone lances at it all those years ago. But also it gets to go BOOM. In a beautiful animation as well. I wish I could handle taking clips, but my laptop would die.
