i just realized i've never seen babyfingers as an audio post on here. rectifying that immediately

John Linnell: [speaking over crowd chatter and steady guitar strumming] I'm gonna tell a story! You guys probably know this place—some of you might know, there's this place called Haven Brothers?

[crowd cheers]

JL: Uh, where you would go, like—after the show, you'd go there really late...and they have, you know, really basic food. And when you get your thing—or, this used to be the case, you get your thing and the guy would go..."Now you're all set!"

[scattered crowd laughter, cheering]

JL: And if you hung around there you'd get to hear him say it over and over. Anyway, I went in there once, and somebody told me, "This is a big Rhode Island thing, go in and ask for Babyfingers. It's this special treat that they have there that you can't get anywhere else." And I asked for the Babyfingers, and it turned out...it was a trick!

[guitar strumming stops]

JL: There's no such thing as "Babyfingers," and the guy thought I was a FREAK!

[crowd laughter]

JL: ...for asking for them!

here's ANOTHER old thing from 2021 AGAIN...they mice be giants, or the johns as fancy mice :] because i love mice did you guys know that. flans is a black broken merle+linn is some kind of partial brindle champagne thing that i don't fully remember the thought process behind. mayhaps i'll redraw this sometime
