THURSDAY 11TH JUNE 2026

❀ We didn't go very far out today but it was really nice to explore the local area. In the evening, just before dusk, I saw a barn owl circling outside the window - momentous times! Sadly, no picture though but they're living just fine in my memory

Hobbies:

❀ Worked more on my filet crochet top

❀ Read 10 pg. of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Activity:

❀ Went for a walk to and around a nearby town - I have included a photo of the William Morris wallpaper in the pub I was in because I thought it was cool!

❀ Played ping pong and mini golf

Study:

❀ Prepped a Spanish reading lesson for one of my GCSE students

FRIDAY 19TH JUNE 2026

❀ I received my school allocation for my placement in Germany today - which I will be heading off to in September so long as I can find somewhere to live!

Hobbies:

❀ Worked more on my filet crochet top

❀ Read 50 pg. of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Activity:

❀ Went for a long walk

❀ Did my favourite yoga routine

Study:

❀ Had a three hour online Speech Therapy work experience session (I didn't realise it was possible for me to be any more excited about my future career but clearly it was because I'm absolutely buzzing!)

❀ Spent a bit of time trying to decipher information and contracts for this placement (I think it was 50% my poor grasp of German and 50% my poor grasp of legal documentation)
