You guys should all watch Ocarina of Time: A Masterclass in Subtext. It’s pretty amazing. I have bones to pick with it, but overall it’s great.
As soon as I saw Gerudo text on a circle on the floor, I was fixated and spent a long while trying to make sense of it. Unfortunately, I can't. I can't make sense of... any of the writing. The other text(s), whatever it/they may be, are unfamiliar. It could be an older writing style they used long ago, but I doubt it. It's just out of character from the feeling you get from the Gerudo typography. My guess is that it's an ancient language used by someone from the age of gods and demons. Unless the Arbiter's Grounds was built on top of Lanayru's Temple of Time... That wouldn't have happened until later. If that's the case, I suggest they belong to one of those ancient tribes who survived at least as far as into the Force Era. Of course, the only one we're aware of is the Wind Tribe... BUT ANYWAY.
The Gerudo text in this place is just "WAWAZU" over and over again. Except the random "YAUBD" and "GUIWK". ...Yeah... None of that means anything as far as I can tell. Funnily enough, "wazo" means "bird" in Eheniv, the Gerudo language crafted by gerudoshikyapril. Not that that's connected to the games at all, but it's still an amazing coincidence! Unfortunately, birds have no relevance to Arbiter's Grounds, so I can't speculate any cultural significance. I mean, Furnixes used to live in this area, but that was a long time ago. ...Unless they're still around but not in-game. Yes, I like that idea. Anyway~

These images could mean anything, I suppose.
I'm sure it's not hard to guess what this reminds me of. Maybe it's an old depiction of the fight with Demise? This image is all over in certain places. I'm not sure if there's a pattern or relevance to which walls have this or other designs.
I wish I could figure out what those lines are supposed to mean.
No matter what, it's clear multiple cultures once met here, most likely hosted by the Gerudo. They probably had religious gatherings, feasts and rituals, which would explain the writing/carvings. We know the place is now used as the seat of the Ancient Sages (spirit/energy forms of the Sealing Sages; the Essence they need to awaken to), so did all tribes have a representative of some sort before Hyrule as a kingdom was formed? Is that where the Sages formed in the first place? It would make a lot of sense.
The first thing I did after completing the Great Plateau, was jump off the snowy area and glide to Mt. Nabooru. Didn't know if I'd make it, but yep! Just barely! Touched down RIGHT on the edge where it comes to a point, feeling like the most awesome person in the world!
Also, I ran along the edge of the Highlands for like an hour before reaching the statue and realizing... I don't have a camera yet... XD
So I beat the Temple of Time in one sitting. Easy breezy beautiful, Cover Girl. Didn't even look at the guide, except to find that last Piece of Heart. Actually, it was Roommate who looked at it, he just picked it up and went "No look I bet it's in this room... Oh no it's not. Oh, it's here!" XD I had to turn around regardless.
AND it turns out I CAN'T use the Dominion Rod to get ALL THE THINGS, not yet, anyway. One more extended visit...
In the meantime, I've started YET ANOTHER file in BotW and am doing a vegetarian playthrough. Not sure what other fun limitations I'll implement. Stay tuned for some of that fun. XD

I love being a wolf. It’s so much better. It’s so much faster and more fluid than a lot of the human actions, let alone horseback. And combat is more fun for the most part. I humbly request we get more Wolf Link or at least other transformations in the future, Make them fun like this one is. Please.
Not to mention I will never cut grass in this game in human form again because rrrrROWR!
