Yeah so Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in NYC with Orville Peck and Eva Noblezada tonight was incredible in a way I can’t even express.

You enter in and it’s like you’re in a seedy night club. Characters are dancing behind beaded curtains as you order drinks. They move down to a lower floor stage and play music and dance together.

Then you go in to the main stage room and if you’re as lucky as we were to be at a table, you get served drinks like you’re in a club. The theater is in the center and there’s lush fringed curtains all around. The band’s on the second floor overlooking the main stage.

The first half is much longer than the second. Which is good because if you know what’s coming in the second it’s a gut punch you don’t want too much of.

Anyway. See Cabaret asap ~ the experience is incredible - it’s … so good.

Is there anyone using those romance short story video apps on your phone? I get ads for them a lot and I’ve steered clear because they seem incredibly stupid and/or not diverse and/or super trad wife/misogynistic. But I’m wondering if I’m missing out?
