Silliness, I know. But, because I do things like this when I can’t write, or focus on writing, lol, I have tried my hand at making a ‘book cover’ for Maybe Just a Way Home. These are the different versions.
I feel like the first one looks like a family drama, all my kids said the blood one made them think ‘zombies’, and then the bullet holes... it is difficult to find good quality bullet holes. (The image size for book covers is enormous, so that’s part of the issue.) I like all the holes in ‘Home” but my eldest suggested spreading them out. I am definitely not great with graphics but it was fun to try.
Also, taglines guys! I am bad enough at summarie (wth me? summary lol) ! Forget trying to condense it all into one sentence!

Other: So, this is like two NaNoWriMos pushed together and I kind of wrote it like it was, not rereading or editing as I went. Which means that I did not even read this thing before I had to start posting it! (Anxiety much) In fact, I still haven’t read it all the way through. It is complete, plot wise though, I just need to make sure I can pull all the threads, connect all the dots as well as crossed all my t’s. I promise I am working quite furiously to get it all polished up and out to my giftee as soon as I am able, but I also want to make it the best I am capable.
my calves keep me from being able to wear so many cute trousers but it isn’t even something you can get a measurement on. Just hips and waist hips and waist. I wish hips and waist were the only thing I had to worry about buddy.

I took a needed break yesterday but today I will start tackling this outline. See how I do with that.
The smoke level here is officially “unhealthy” today so... excuse to stay indoors? (not in my society but whatever) I guess I have an excuse not to go for a walk today. (I wish a personal treadmill wasn’t such a ridiculous luxury for me to want lol)
