The living room had a huge tree, decorated with plenty of ornaments, one or two that James had even made in kindergarten. Isaac had also made sure there were plenty of gifts for their son, and a few for Benji as well under the tree. He couldn’t wait to see his family’s reaction to it all.
Peter had been the head of security for months, and even if he refused to admit it, Isaac found himself attracted to the older man. He knew there were cameras all over the house, and he wanted to get Peter alone, and it was why he was plotting to sneak out of the house, and actually get caught. He just had to make sure that his father didn’t see what he planned to do.
He looked up at the camera outside of his bedroom door, and smirked at it. He pulled his hoodie on and moved along the hallway. He knew there was a high probability that Peter was watching him. Isaac kept moving along, and headed for the laundry room. Mostly because he knew that there were no cameras in there, and a good spot to sneak out.
He pushed himself up and sat down on the laundry machine and waited. After about ten minutes, he saw Peter coming into the room. He smirked at him and waved.
“Did you really think I wasn’t going to see you trying to sneak out?” Peter asked as he walked up to Isaac.
“Nope, I was counting on you seeing it.” Isaac said and got up, and stood up. He closed the small gap between them, and pressed his lips against Peter’s and kissed him, long and soft.
It had been a long time coming, his parents having arranged it when he was little. He was going to get married into the Hale family, and he was in the car, on his way there, to spend a whole year with them. It was so he could get to know how things worked in their territory, and so he could get to know his fiancé Cora Hale. Isaac wasn’t exactly looking forward to it, however, he had been accustomed to the idea for years, and it was why he was more nervous and excited than anything else.
He only had two bags with him, one with clothes and one with his favourite books, and his pencils and a couple of his sketchbooks.
The full moon was rising, and since he was bored, and itching to go for a proper run, he grabbed his backpack, and shoved an extra set of clothes into it. It was just in case, and he put the backpack in a separate spot, closer to the edge of the forest. Isaac then made his way further out into the forest. He made sure no one was around, before he stripped out of his clothes. He kept his boxers on, mostly because he didn’t feel comfortable taking them off. He balled up his clothes and tucked them into the hollow of a tree he found. Once he’d done it, he looked around to make sure he was still alone.
When he was a hundred percent sure, he got down on all four, and shifted. He turned into the white wolf, with dark grey stripes across the back and dark muzzle. He shook his fur and stretched out fully after he shifted, and took his time getting used to his four legged form. Isaac howled into the sky, and then he took off into the forest.
Isaac had grabbed a pair of his clean socks and cut several holes into one. He was going to put it on his little pet lizard, Jackson. He couldn’t let him get cold when he brought him with him outside. He’d even made a little pouch like bag for him to carry him around in. It was one of those thermal fabrics, so it would keep him warm. He happened to like bringing his lizard with him. “Jackson I have a present for you.” He said as he walked up to the terrarium he had.
It wasn’t the first time he had to dodge the questions of an interviewer. This time it was a group interview for the movie he had shot together with Lydia, and a few hours. The only questions asked of him and her were about their on screen chemistry, and if it was something that was true in their real lives as well. A question Isaac was so bored of by now. One he always gave the same answer to. An answer that in all truth was a lie. “We are just friends, nothing more.” He answered and gave them his charming smile, as always.
He forced himself to not look over at Lydia, like he wanted as he answered the question. They were more than friends, they were as close as best friends, but they also loved one another. They were a couple, they had just decided to keep it from the public. Isaac really didn’t like the idea of the whole world knowing about what went on his private life. He was a very private person.
IN A UNIVERSE WHERE EVERYONE IS BORN WITH NUMBERS ON THEIR WRISTS COUNTING DOWN TO WHEN THEY’LL MEET THEIR SOULMATE, SEND ME 00:00:00 FOR MY MUSES REACTION TO THEIR NUMBERS HITTING ZERO WHEN THEY MEET YOURS.

His clock had been ticking down since he was born. It was why he’d stopped paying attention to it. It seemed to be ticking on forever. Sure Isaac had counted down to which date he’d meet his soul mate. The only problem was that his clock had then frozen on 63 hours, 10 minutes and 59 seconds.

He was staring at the numbers on his wrist. They were finally counting down again. It made him nervous, excited and scared all at once. He had no idea what would happen. Well he did know that he was going to meet his so called soulmate in less than three days. It had Isaac all jittery. He didn’t really know what to do with himself and when he had classes he couldn’t focus.

He was sitting at his desk, trying to do his homework. It wasn’t going well because his eyes kept drifting to the clock on his wrist. It was steadily counting down. The lower it got the more Isaac got nervous.

By the time school rolled around the next day he had slept all of two hours. He was antsy and curious and nervous and his emotions were going haywire. Isaac got weird looks from everyone at school, especially when he was squirming in his seat. Something he normally never did.

Another day passed and he could finally start to focus a bit better. Especially since he was getting used to his nerves. His homework went much better the night before and he could sort of sit still during class as well. Isaac had even been able to answer a few questions during his classes.

It was Saturday and it was just an hour left. It was an hour until he’d meet his soul mate. He didn’t know where to go, so he ended up grabbing his phone and walked around aimlessly. Isaac even forgot about time as he strolled around. He was enjoying the weather as he walked.
00:01:59 00:01:58 00:01:57
It wasn’t until he plopped down on a bench that he looked at his wrist. His eyes almost bugged out of his skull. It was already ticking down from two minutes. As he sat there he watched it tick down to one minute, then it was ticking down on seconds. When it was down to ten seconds he looked up and looked around.
When there was five seconds left he saw someone getting closer and closer. He had no idea who he was, but Isaac felt his whole body tingling. When the man was right next to him the wrist clock reached zero and it rang. He ended up staring at the man. “Uhm… You’re my soul mate.
