Rant.
I’m aware of how anti-american I am and sometimes it comes out as offensive, so I always try to keep myself on the level to avoid bias. But... The Las Vegas police just discovered that the shooter from last week had bought over half of his weapon arsenal after August last year. To be specific, in that time he purchased a total of 33 rifles. 33 rifles. Not only that, but even though full automatic rifles are hard to get it’s completely legal to purchase an add-on to your semi-automatic that makes it practically full automatic.
So in that country (and that state specifically) it’s completely legal for a single man to buy enough military level weapons for a small army. And people reason that with a statement that was made in 1790.
Like, we have a lot of idiots over here too but at least our legal system doesn’t allow rich people to literally hoard killing machines, tune them to be even more deadly, carry the whole load to a fancy hotel and have a quarter long shooting spree at innocent people, all while being on prescription drugs and having went down in a circle of losing weight and not taking care of himself.
But that was his “freedom” am I right. Can’t have a system that tells a man no when he risks the lives of hundreds.
