The Gallifreyan had been through many predicaments throughout her life. Though never had she been hunted in her life. So this? Oh this was first for her. Having taken it upon herself to save a crying child on the planet of Bevrigious, one she knew she had to. When it came to children, Ardena always made it her purpose to help and save. Though little did she know, was that the child was to be sacrificed to the planets deity. Honestly, species and their ridiculous traditions, it never made sense to her way of thinking.
Regardless of the matter, the Gallifreyan had been successful in getting the child to safety, but at a price. For now, her very life was now in danger. Taking to her TARDIS, she soared the Time Vortex faster than the speed of light, she had to lose them! But how? where would she go? Anywhere she was at, they’d find her, she had to be quick on her feet, quick with her thoughts. Though when it came right down to it, this universe wasn’t safe, but did Diva have enough energy, enough power to break through the walls to the next Universe? Only one way to find out.
With a switch of a lever the TARDIS increased in speed and after the Gallifreyan punched it into overdrive with a few commands being dialed in. The exterior of the ship glowed with golden energy “Come on Diva! We’ve got this! We can do it! Just a bit more! Please!!” she pleaded with her spaceship with a soul, holding steadily upon the lever and with that extra push, the TARDIS was able to slam through the barriers of one Universe to the next.
Being thrashed out of her REM sleep rather violently, the female sat up, her heart racing rapidly within her chest. As a result her breathing was a pant as a trembling hand reached up to comb through her raven locks, only to pull it back upon feeling moisture. It was then upon further inspection that she realized she’d broken out in a cold sweat in the night.
“… Another one of those dreams… It seemed so real..” slowly crystalline hues moved to focus upon the clock on her night stand and soon her face scrunched in dismay as a groan sounded “almost five in the morning… Damn it… I can’t sleep now… Not with class starting in three hours” with a heavy sigh Jade pulled herself out of bed and went to go freshen up and get her morning started with a cup of coffee and her usual morning jog.
After dressing in her jogging outfit and lacing up her sneakers, Jade locked the door to the apartment she was sharing with a few other females in the apartment complex just off campus. Sliding in her earbuds and pushing play on her music player, Jade took off in a light jog, going her usual route through the city park the long way around till the path looped her back home where she got ready for school.
Time had passed quicker than she’d like, but still, the female was on time with the daily duties of a college student and took to the building, book bag within her grasp, notebook tucked in her arm as she headed down the hall in a slower step than usual as she scanned over her assignment she’d procrastinated on as usual and hurriedly half arsed the thing just to get it done with.
