Zee zipped the dress halfway down as she moved closer to Bruce. “You better or else I’ll go looking for you and you don’t want a pissed off magician after you.” Her voice stayed light and teasing, as did her walk. She didn’t zip the dress all the way down just enough to show off the matching red lace lingerie she was wearing underneath. A part of her was waiting to wake up and she was going to put this off for a few minutes to make sure it wasn’t some dream or illusion that had taken over her mind.

Walking all the way up to him she didn’t stop in front of him but instead moved behind him. Pressing herself against his back she kicked off her shoes and stood on her toes to whisper in his ear. “Here I am stripping for you and you still have all these clothes on.” Her fingers trailed across his shoulder before she kissed his neck. “I don’t think that’s really fair, do you?”

Of course it wasn’t necessary but Zee thought it was fun. She probably could have healed him with a few well spoken words but this was at least a legitimate spell and she got something out of it too. “I don’t make the rituals for the spells I just have to follow them. I’m not that bad of a kisser.” She was giggling and felt a little bad for taking advantage of the situation. “I’m sorry it takes less energy than just saying a few words. I promise to never do it again, but I think you’re missing out.”

From the moment they met she knew their lives were going to be intertwined together, but she hadn’t dreamed of this kind of life. Zee had learned to keep those kind of thoughts out of her head because she always seemed to fall for men who were emotionally distant and Bruce seemed to be no different. Especially when he was the Batman. Zee could not have been more wrong and now she could easily picture a life with him forever. “Nobody, that’s a might high honor My. Wayne.” She leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek before snuggling closer to him.

“Let’s do it. You already know I love kids. I love you and our family. This is… I can’t think of anything I want more.” Zee was practically bouncing as she thought of all the ideas for a nursery and clothes. She would have to push back her tour but no dates had been set yet and her would always be more important. “Let’s go home, curl up together with whatever Alfred has lying around for dessert and talk about this. We still have a lot to figure out.” She traced her finger down his arm with a mischievous smirk on her lips. "Then we can work on the fun part.“ First they needed to talk about their vigilante activities, her magic, and how to protect an innocent baby from both of their lives. She had no doubt their enemies would try and use the baby against them.

The question had been gnawing at her for days. When she had first met Dinah she had been in awe of her and that had quickly turned to a crush which had somehow become something more. Zee was in love, this had to be what love felt like, but she had never experienced it before. Sure she had feelings for Bruce but this was something else, something that made them seem childish and unimportant. Finally it just became to much to bare and she had asked Dinah what had been haunting her since she realized how she felt.

She had been gnawing on her lip until Dinah had come over and sat on her lap. Even with the question still unanswered the act brought a grin to her face. The girl could make her smile just by the simplest of touches and this was a bit more intimate. Her fingers curled in the hair she loved to run her fingers through and it was like trying to swallow electricity. She could feel it dancing in her skin and Zee didn’t know if it was Dinah or a reaction to the magic she was learning ran through every cell of her being, but she doubted kissing anybody else would get her the same reaction.

Zee’s heart started to break in that moment. She wanted more than like and she closed her eyes so she wouldn’t have to look into Dinah’s eyes. A lot was a start and maybe it would still grow into love but she wanted more. “That wasn’t what I asked.” Zee slowly opened up her eyes and her hands dropped to Dinah’s waist. Like a lot couldn’t be right, this felt to perfect for it to be anything other than meant to be.

When Dinah finally confessed to loving her Zee lit up. She let out a breath she didn’t even know she had been holding and kissed her before she gave an answer. “Of course I love you. Di, I love you more than I have ever loved anything in this world. You are my world and loving you is more amazing than all the magic that exists.” She wouldn’t have stayed if she hadn’t felt this way, not when it meant her father knew where she was. It was only a matter of time before he demanded she come back home.

Zatanna was used to teleportation and she guessed technically her family estate didn’t completely exist in this realm but this wasn’t magic and she wasn’t just used to people stepping out of wormholes in front of her. “I mean I can make myself go from one place to another but I’ve never had visitors to another Earth greet me.” When she had decided to open her new club here Zee had known it was a little weird she just didn’t expect this. “If I can accept I have magical abilities I can accept this.”

Trick or Treat

Zee’s fingers were slowly going through costumes. A witch was a must, every year at some point she was a witch, but she might save that for her Halloween show. This year she had Ryder and Dinah to impress and Zee hated to fail to impress. She could probably count the number of times she had on hand. Dinah’s words caused her to turn her head and she let out a giggle at the outfit. “Baby I’ll be whatever you want me to be.” Her eyes roamed over her love’s body, enjoying the shortness of the costume. It was horrible offensive, but that wasn’t unusual this time of year.

“I think we can find something that won’t get me protesters outside my show.” Though she doubted that would be it. When Dinah mentioned her breasts her eyes traveled down and she licked her lips. “I like what I’m seeing.” Maybe the next time she was on tour or something supernatural showed up she would see if she could find Dinah an authentic one and not something from a costume shop. The woman was a warrior in her own right and she would respect it. “Besides what would Roy say? Wasn’t her raised by Native Americans?” At least she thought that was the story. While she thought Dinah looked hot it was not on the list of things she was going to approve.

“We can match when we take Ryder trick or treating and I’ll try and find something for you that is a bit more covered up. However the whole point of Halloween parties is to dress slutty.” Not that she wasn’t used to walking around in front of a group of people in practically nothing. “I’m even staying away from all the princess stuff. We could do pirates. Ryder would look adorable in a pirate costume.”

Three hours, she had spent the last three hours in a business meeting that had managed to accomplish nothing. Once month she got everyone together and they discussed any concerns, problem clients and changes. It kept Zee in the loop of what was going on and she got a good idea of who was going to cause her trouble in the future. If she could put a stop to it now, it would cost her less in the future. It didn't matter what the service they offered was, this was still a business. Except within ten minutes the screaming had started and it was only stopping now because of a few well placed threats.

"Bass. Tell me you're here to whisk me off to some exotic location I've never been to?" Which was actually quite a long list. She had been to poor until a few years ago and now there was just not enough time to go see the world like she wanted to. The only places she had ever been for a real vacation was Venice and Paris. "At the very least if you could me whisk me off somewhere that would serve me wine from an exotic location I would be happy. Just anywhere but here or where there is a bunch of screaming girls."
