Jasmin Kaset + Quichenight - Tuxedo

Jasmin and Brett spoke with The Nashville Scene about the creation of the album in an interview that can be read right over here. In addition to the insights contained within that piece, Kaset took to Instagram to say this of the album:

After singing with the tribute for @jessizazuinc in January this year, whose level of output is staggering and was always in pure rock-n-roll spirit, I vowed to make more music. It was a brain-changer. Making more music to me meant being less precious about getting it out slick n perfect or waiting for the perfect time, it meant authentically showing a moment in time while that moment in time was still personally relevant.

Sonically, Tuxedo is not like any of Kaset’s prior projects - from Birdcloud to You Drive or even her prior solo albums. It’s much more rough and tumble, much more immediate and raw but no less authentic or thoughtful.
