I’ll do a proper update with one of the art pieces later, I am about to crash out and wanted to update all the works beforehand!
So I was working on a Marichat chapter of Hint of Pink that is coming, and I was so worried about this episode that just dropped because I figured it would have a lot of parallels.
Without the clarity of dialogue, I think there is only one.
I figured I would beat canon to it, but honestly I can’t be mad about it. I may just tinker with it a little more until I’m fully happy with the slightly other way this one is going to go.
Sorry I haven't posted any story updates. I have symptoms of the virus and I don't wanna put out a crap chapter since I gotta edit my fics myself.
And I can't edit when I feel like sleeping all the time.
I'm writing, but until I feel less like shit, and more of a general okayness, I won't be posting anything.
Ao3 will have the update first (since that's where I first posted this story) but its posted within the same day.
update: i have prompts in my inbox and i am 100% going to get to them but i got a new idea that’s pretty multifaceted. i’m considering writing it as a series of oneshots all set in this same universe because all the ideas i have are a bit separate from each other and might not make a cohesive story but they’re all important to the overall plot. i’m probably going to start working on that, then get to the askbox prompts once this idea isn’t taking over my brain. and i’m putting my fix-it chaptered story on hold until the digital version of the movie comes out so i can get details and dialogue right.
Still hoping to get a little bit of Alya's in trouble done in the next couple of days but my wrist is giving me lots of trouble now. If it doesn't happen, I should know next day or so. I do have the rest plotted out. This is my take on the Anansi plot summary, so it will be slightly different if the trailer is anything to go by but hopefully will be fun and some other ways. Happily for me, I was definitely right on a few things, and I am happy to be wrong on a few others.
More of For Scentimental Reasons should be up later today, but the LadyNoir piece is definitely more involved than I first thought. I’m plodding along anyways (and trying to remind myself to stick towards drabbles to get bits to you closer to on time). :)
