Rays of bright sunlight peek over the leaves of her indoor garden, flowers opening their blossoms for the world to see. Cool air seeping through the vents awakening the young vampire, her pale blue orbs watching the celling with a confused expression.

Rosalisa sits herself up, a small hand pressed firmly to her temple, pulling back to reveal light dots of blood. Not her own, she concludes. Sitting idly, she soon hears what would be normal steps, yet are far too quick to be. She’s to her feet in less than a second, eyes watching the door to the cottage.
