â Debate it over with Fury, not me.        Câmon, I even got your coffee started. â
âYouâre off to a good start, kid. â
âYouâre jealous?â
Is she surprised? Â Maybe. Â Sheâs used to him trying to make sure the people she dates arenât complete slime-balls. Â Admittedly, there might have been a couple. Â But had she ever really considered that he could be jealous? Â No, not really.
âYou know, you could have said something.â
âNoâ I couldnât have. âs not my place to say anything.â
He looks down at his hands, twiddling his thumbs. Regret starts to sink in, making his stomach churn and his breath catch in his throat.Â
âYâknow, nevermind. Just forget I said anything.â
if you donât want to go to work and you know it, clap your hands.
        CLAP CLAP
Natasha narrows her eyes, watching her partner. Â She hates when he lies to her. Â Itâs not only infuriating but she generally dislikes avoiding the point at hand.
âWhy didnât you say anything?â
    âBecause, Natâ Iâmââ
He cuts himself off once again and sighs. Looking down at his feet, he tries to swallow his pride and tell her the truth, but he canât even bring himself to look at her.
         âIâm jealous, thatâs why.â
âI like Banner â heâs sweet â but⊠ Guess Iâm not really cut out for this kind of thing.â
âYeah, well. Heâs a lucky guyââ
Inhaling deeply, the archer rubs his neck nervously         as he tries to decide whether or not he should just         say it. Itâs the fear of rejection; of losing his best friend         that holds his tongue.
âI lied.â He blurts out. âThisâ this is what Iâm upset about.     You and Bannerââ

â Wake UP, Clint. We leave in one hour⊠â
â Itâs too early to be awake. â
âYouâre cute when you worry, Barton.  I donât really know whatâs going on with Banner.  Itâs a thing, itâs⊠I donât know.  Is it so bad I thought I could make something work?â
âWeâve all been there, âtash. Hell, Iâm still there. It sucks, but doesnât mean itâs bad.â
âSure, I mean⊠itâs fine.  Clint, Iâm a big girl, you know that right?â
âI know, I know. Just want you to be happy, thatâs all. I just care about you, so sue me.â
âThen I guess there isnât anything to talk about.  Itâs Banner, weâre⊠fine.â
âAre you happy? Thatâs all I wanna know.â
âMe and⊠Banner?  Thatâs what this is about?â
âNoâno. Itâs not. Just seeing how itâs goinâ. Thatâs all.â
 âIâM AS n a t u r a l as they GET, handsome.â
âYeah? âs a good look on you, sweetheart.â
   â  wow. ever the GENTLEMAN.  â Â
she moves aside to let him in,         before closing the door behind him
â  alright - we need to finish our star wars marathon.                       empire strikes back ? â

he places the takeout on        the counter and throws the        bag away before bringing the        food into the living room.
âgot you your usual.   hopefully you didnât   want to try something new. â
â from tonyâs readings the past few months while iâve been gone â thereâs not        a single anomalous sign that ultron could be anywhere weâve looked. so heâs        either dead or â- very, very good at hiding. â
âif heâs directly linked to technology,      then thereâs no way we couldâve      gotten rid of âim for good. unless      we destroyed all of technology, right?â
âClint, how long have we been friends? Â I let you complain about everything. Â Even if itâs ridiculous.â
âYou anâ Bannerâ Howâs thatâ Howâs that goinâ?â
