For anyone in SW Ontario, Brian Henry's writing classes are highly recommended. I learnt so much at his full-day course on "Writing Your Life & Other True Stories" that as soon as I came home that evening, I registered online for two more of his workshops. His blog site (quick-brown-fox-canada.blogspot.com) is a terrific all-round resource for established & wannabe writers.
One great tip Brian gave us ~ carry a small writing notebook and pencil with you at all times, for jotting down ideas . . . (and perhaps even snippets of overheard story-worthy conversations?)
