Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game Goes on Overdrive

We only have less than two months left with the Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game, and it’s clear that Bandai had much more planed. These plans are now rolling out on an accelerated path as they’ve put their updates on overdrive! Bandai just added both Omechuptchi and Butterflytchi for the month of September, but there is more in store!

First off there is a new event where you can earn new Tamagotchi Planet furniture! This is super cute, and if we had to guess this was probably originally scheduled for November, the anniversary of Tamagotchi’s first launch. Also six new characters have been added as Tama friends which you can marry on the quick game. The six new characters are Shimagurutchi, Spacytchi, Oyajitchi, Melodytchi, Ichigotchi, and Makiko.

The Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game is clearly going out with a bang as Bandai is speeding up the rollout of new events, features, and characters before the sunset date of October 30th, 2020. Until then, lets enjoy the quick game as much as we can!

LINE Shutting Down LINE Quick Game

The LINE  Quick Game feature which allowed users of LINE messaging to play quick games during on the application itself and interact with others will be shutdown after just two years. LINE had partnered with Bandai Japan two years ago as a launch partner of the new feature. The Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game, which is a fan favorite since 2018!

LINE has announced on their official website and social media channels that the LINE Quick Game will be shutdown on Friday October 30th, 2020 at 15:00. All saved data from the Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game will be deleted, that means all in-game items will be deleted including paid items that have already been purchased. Paid items are not subject to refund.

This is horrible news for fans of the popular Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game. We really enjoyed seeing a new character arrive each months, special events and challenges, and items! We only have a few more months to enjoy the application, and who knows maybe such a feature will make its way on to a different platform, perhaps WhatsApp? One can wish!

Omechuptchi & Butterflytchi Join Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game!

The Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game has been updated with two new faces! Both Omechuptchi and Butterflytchi have joined the quick game as of Thursday, August 27th. It is very unusual for Bandai to add two new characters, but this is coming as no surprise since it has been announced that the LINE Quick Game will be discontinued this October. We would not be surprised to see an accelerated rollout of more characters and features over the new few weeks!

In the meantime welcome to the quick game, Omechuptchi & Butterflytchi! Butterflytchi always reminds us of the Tamagotchi Friends Dream Town released back in 2015!

Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game Kimodameshi Event

The Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game has just kicked off another event! We know that LINE is shutting down the quick game feature in October, but it looks like the last few months will still packed with fun! Remember, each month usually introduces a new event and character! Kimodameshi is a Japanese tradition which includes telling ghost stories in the summer. Kimodameshi is the test of courage, a Japanese activity in which people explore frightening, and dangerous places to help build courage. The Kimodameshi event features an adorable new wallpaper that might just spook you! The event started on Thursday, August 6th at 17:30, and will end on Wednesday, August 19th at 20:00.

Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game: Two New Tamagotchi Characters & Ghost Bingo!

Although the Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game days are coming to an end, Bandai is not slowing down on new content. In fact Bandai might be speeding things up since we only have until October 30th to finish enjoying the quick game.

Users of the quick game were alerted that in the latest update users can post your Tamagotchi directly to the LINE timeline, which is similar to a Facebook feed. Previously users had to screenshot the application and then post to their LINE timeline.

Also, two new Tamagotchi characters are being added to the quick game! Starting on August 27th you’ll see two new faces as soon as you log into the Tamagotchi LINE Quick Game! Who do you think it could be?

Lastly, the monthly bingo game has been updated to be ghost themed this month! Perhaps Bandai is pulling out their Halloween content a bit earlier this year? We’ll see what the last updates bring!
