And the drama continues in the Purdue Quidditch Community

As the year developed, I realized that there were people that I didn't get along with. Oh, yes, I expected this to happen, but it was someone i had originally been rather fond of.  Until they showed their true colors. However, that's partially irrelevant. 

What IS relevant is that they decided that because they dislike me that they would post my tumblr page on their wall. Which, in my opinion, is a breach of privacy seeing as how i dont allow people i know to follow me so that i can post whatever i want. 

So i could potentially be changing my URL again because of the indecency of one person. 

I realize that they have friends on this website who probably gave them a heads up to the post in the first place. And i dont appreciate that either. My advice to you is to stay off my page. 

I love my blog. And if you have any decency in you, you will keep your fucking mouth shut. Because i know who you are. And it's bullshit. But it makes sense that the two of you are friends. 

I will not apologize for voicing my discontent with the politics of my quidditch club. 

But if you wanted me to confront her, then i suppose you win. No more passivity from me. I straight up told her what i think of her. and if her feelings are hurt, she has no one to blame but herself. 

I'm by no means a mean person, but i dont take shit from people. I dont let people walk all over me. I'm too strong for that. 

But don't expect any niceties from me on your behalf, because you will be sadly mistaken. 

As a question to other quidditch teams, do you guys deal with a shit ton of bullshit drama too? i'm genuinely curious

My team is somewhat in shambles. I almost feel like I'm in high school again. There are 'cliques', too many attitudes, and so many egos on the field. This makes it really rough off AND on the field. As a member that's trying to progress our team, I feel like I'm at a loss. Any advice?

This is ridiculously disappointing to hear. Your team needs some way to be reminded not to take themselves too seriously-- they DO have brooms between their legs after all.

Is there anyone on the team who shares your sentiments? Try your best to organize a team-wide event. Team dinner. Team Starkid or Potter film viewing party. Or just a party at someone's abode.

Try playing more silly games or drills at practice. Ninja's a classic one for Quidditch teams.

Cliques are a natural social phenomenon. It's not necessarily a bad thing that certain people gravitate to a small group of people more than everyone else. That's how you make your greatest friends- finding who you get along with most. It only becomes a problem when this is truly harms your relationship with the other people. If there's animosity due to these separations, something should be said. People need to be honest, up front, but respectful. It's much better to put it out there and handle it than to keep it in and watch as everything falls apart.

I'm sorry this probably won't completely turn your team around, but I hope something in that is of use to you. Good luck!! <3
