Truth is, I’m generally happiest when it’s just me. It’s okay to be madly in love with yourself.

The true quality of your life can only be determined by how you frequently feel when you are alone.
Proverbs 27:5
This has been one of my favorite Bible verses since high school. I've learned this from one of my friends who is a daughter of a pastor. I have read lots of explanations about this verse and despite the differences, this only meant one thing, that if you truly love someone, you will do anything to drive them off/away from sins or anything that will lead to the destruction of their souls. Loving someone is not just about giving gifts and saying "I love you" but there is more to love that we, young people still do not understand. There is only one TRUE LOVE that cannot be questioned and that is God's love for us.
Haggai 1:5-6
Now this is what the Lord Almighty says:
" Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.
So this is the verse that caught my eye as I was reading the Bible. You see, I am trying to bring back my old self and drawing myself closer to Him, again. I could actually relate to this passage and I know most of us do. God just want us to know that we should not just do things for the sake of just doing them like for instance, we do read the Bible but do we absorb everything that we have read or we just read it just to say that "hey! I'm a Christian, therefore I am required to read the Bible". So right now, I'm doing the best that I can to revive the Christianity in me. My heart was broken in front of God and now it is renewed by the Spirit of God and I will never be heartbroken again because I am forever in a relationship with Him.
