        -- ❝ i call bs on your ‘ higher iq ‘ until i can see it in action. ❞ that said, as soon as he sets down his bag he unzips it & takes out a reversi / othello, flashing a grin at the other once it was out. he’d come to konoha on a business & he needed a place to crash, ergo shikamaru being his unfortunate victim ( it was late at night & he’d forgotten to sign in earlier that day-- totally his fault ). he doesn’t even wait for the okay before he places it on the nearest table & beings to set it up.

“You’re asking me... for girl advice.” It sounds like he’s humored, and he won’t lie, he most definitely is. But he’s also surprised, Shikamaru was the last person he would’ve expected to be flustered around girls enough to require his advice. “Trouble in paradise with miss windmill?” His confused expression is swapped out with a smug look, crossing his arms.

Stepping into the room, the blonde’s lips curled into a slight frown at the sight of Shikamaru working on some more files. But she had ways to get his attention anyways. One hand reached out to push the files further back on the table before she twisted, one leg thrown out so that she could straddle the Nara man. Looking down into his dark gaze, she smiled warmly as she settled happily in his lap.

“Evening.” 

She leaned in, hands coming up to cup the sides of Shikamaru’s face as she did so. Soft lips pressed to his. Though the force behind her kiss was anything but soft. No, that was all intense desire as she pressed close to the brunet, a tiny little note of happiness bubbling in his throat.
