Quilt update. This is split somewhere in the blues and I have to sew that together and then I have to add one more yellow row to the top. Then the quilt top is finally, finally done.

Holy jeeze.
Good fucking golly.
The things I get myself into, yeesh.
No way in hell I'm finishing this monster tonight, but BEHOLD NONETHELESS..! This thing is about 63 x 63 inches...
Daughter is making this cute quilt for a colleague who is having a baby. There is a deadline and time is running out so yesterday after Park Run we went to her house and I uplifted a block so I could help with the construction. I have a stack of winter trousers to hem for Mum so I got some of those done so I could sit and stitch in the evening. I got quite a bit done. I am so used to stitching hexies that these shapes felt funny in my hands at first. I made pretty good progress.
Got the blocks all finished, it should be six feet by seven and a half feet when it's all put together, I thought six feet would be too small but i forget that six feet is longer than I am tall so it's not bad for the short side.
I'm called this the stargazer quilt while I was making it, but seeing it laid out, it reminds me of either the arm of the Milky Way when viewed from somewhere with no light pollution.
Or van wizards.
Looking for a good home for my Luke Skywalker quilt (once it’s finished)— details below the cut.
Here is the latest progress picture (attached two of the four borders).
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!
It's been nearly a month since my last project update, and in that time, I've been making significant progress on several ongoing projects! I can't wait to show you all what I've been up to!
Check out the full update on the Fibre Arts blog!
The corn maze quilt is coming along.
Whelp I'm gonna have to tear it apart to make the corners line up better but it's a start. This was about 5 hours of work from initial cutting to taking the picture at the bottom. I like the overall effect though.
This is all scrap fabric since my mom said I needed to do a proof version first before I worked on the final version.
