A current collaboration is my CoVid-quilt. I run out of fabrics somewhere in the middle of piecing blocks together. Or better, I only had leftovers from the same few projects so everything would be too similar. So I asked around the people I know that sew for their leftover fabrics. And gosh did I get some beautiful leftovers. So thanks to @danielakayb, @magic_cauldron, @jzlos and @pepito_mel I had enough fabric to play around and make a quilt. The joy of hand sewing the binding on the back side of the quilt. If I was any better (read: could do it at all) at stitch-in-the-ditch I would do this step by machine, but no. And the binding. I promis this will be a non-quilting space again, but atm I'm pretty much busy with finishing up this monster so I can free up brainspace for other creative projects again. In the middle of quilting. Look at my little comfy nest I build myself for the quilting progress. I decided on a mix of freeform and geometry, pretty much like the scrap-blocks in neat little boxes. I kinda forgot who little space I have under the arm of my machine, the baby quilt I made last was easier to manover.
