Day 21: Quilty Quote #GreatBritishQuilter 🇬🇧 🎁 When we make quilts and gift them, we gift a huge part of ourselves along with it. Most of the time this is a truly wonderful experience for the quilter and the recipient. However, there are occasions when the person receiving our quilt doesn’t do so with an appreciation and understanding of what is being gifted to them and other times we gift a quilt to someone and later the relationship falters and maybe even ends. 🎁 These scenarios can be heartbreaking. Years ago, when I mourned the loss of a quilt, Lisa, @theredheadedmermaid, advised me to consider 'quilt worthiness' before gifting a quilt.
