Ineffable Husbands predates 2012. While AC/Air Conditioning was popular for a bit, there was some worry about cross contamination with actual AC content and most people predominately moved to Ineffable Husbands. I didn't realize there were many of us left who remembered Air Conditioning XD

So Umino Iruka is one of my favorite characters and I love playing with theories about/for him. One of my favorite headcanons is that he’s related to Uzushiogakure ninja (either his parents escaped the destruction of Uzushiogakure themselves or they were diplomats to Konoha up until the destruction of their home village) and knows what he’s doing with seals. I usually don’t consider him a seal master (because I feel like it’d be hard to be certified a seal master especially when the village who probably used to certify people as seal masters is wiped off the face of the earth) but he’s definitely highly skilled. He also doesn’t consider himself a seal master, but he’s the kind of person who could & would develop a whole new seal to solve a problem so people around him might consider
Jariaya was supposed to teach him more about sealing, but then Jariaya turned him down as an apprentice so instead Iruka was integrated with an existing chunnin team who was missing a member. This means Iruka has a below average number of D-ranks and a surprising number of B & A ranks under his belt. He also ended up the defacto ‘leader’ of his team, despite being the lower rank (I usually HC his team as Itachi & Anko, lead by Ibiki but pretty much any team is a pretty great one).
