Why liev don't want to confess first or approach them as friend? I mean its 100% guarantee quinn say yes

Firstly, a lack of self-confidence -- despite being the smartest, most popular guy at school, Liev (at least pre-game) saw himself as unworthy of Quinn's attention, no matter how flustered they would get around him. Liev basically needed the "push" from Quinn's love letter to become a lot more forward with his affection.

Related to this, his paranoia kept him from making the first move since, well aware of his own instability, Liev was terrified of saying or doing the wrong thing and scaring them away with the truth of his personality... and we all know how that turns out.

Sooooo for a yandere like him, the logical next best step would, of course, be to watch over them from a distance...

I am curious about in hindsight ending. I though liev simplely kidnapped mc after graduation buta after read the game code this:

( # While he’s gone, you can choose to either book it or stay.

# Booking it will lead straight to a non-standard bad ending where you go home and report

# him to the police, but they drop the case days later due to lack of evidence. You develop severe paranoia as a result, which isn't helped

# by the fact that Liev manipulates everyone at school into thinking the date never happened/that you were only hanging out as friends, and gaslights you into

# thinking you've gone insane. You graduate from school, more lonely and isolated and anxious than ever, and decide to take a gap year. One night, Liev breaks into

# your house and kidnaps you, thought this is implied to be one of your paranoia-fuelled nightmares. (IN HINDSIGHT))

It clearly state that liev gas lighting mc and never kidnap mc. So in this ending liev loses his love to mc and hating them?

No, he never falls out of love with them.

I kind of strayed from the game code's notes and left Ending 4 up to interpretation - does Liev actually kidnap them, or is Quinn/MC just having a nightmare, albeit one that shows that no matter what, they can never truly escape him?
