what do you mean? I’m just curious, not interrogating.
In America people seem to learn the fundamentals for longer (which I think is better), though that probably isn't the case in every school. In Britain, to get into Art School for your degree you essentially have to be producing really out-there conceptual stuff already, but in America it seems that they take you based on your actual talent in terms of technical ability rather than how many non-traditional materials you use and how much swearing is in your work. Of course, this is not always the case, but a lot of it looks that way.
