Hi, I hope this ask finds you well. After Quintara's first therapy session, I re-read the Bachelor Challenge episodes; their relationship was bound to have a rocky start. He wanted peace so bad, he thought choosing Zaharah was the best thing for him. But he hasn't known a moment of peace since their honeymoon. The reunion show was shortly after they got back, and it's been chaos ever since.

Q has changed tremendously since the death of his first wife. I think she was and forever will be his one true love. But I remember him saying on his date with Amari that he loved being married. I think he loved being married to his first wife (Bailey-Paris, yes, I remember wife no.1 was BaileyKay before the cast switch to Paris).

I think her death is a heartache he'll never truly get over... Q met wife no. 1, fell in love instantly, pursued her persistently, and ultimately won his prize. On the show, he's the prize. Trin had to constantly remind him of how much he loves the chase (pursuit). She knows that's what does it for him. She tried to even help out Chanel by telling her that information. However, the only woman he had to chase was Noemy. Zahara looks like his first wife, and Noemy reminded him of the chase.

Quinton is chasing the ghost of the life he will never have again.

First off, thanks for the ask, anon, and I'm doing well. I'm not mad at all. I'm not that sensitive about my characters. They aren't perfect, and some are downright unlikable, and I'm okay with that. This was a really good perspective!!! He is chasing something he will never ever get back. I don't think he realises it either. He was lonely, and the show was an opportunity to fill that void. He wasn't ready, though. I don't think anyone is the bad guy here, but things moved really fast. Too fast since we're being honest. So there wasn't time to stop and assess, and now here we are. I agree with everything you said, and I love the juxtaposition of the two women in his life being the ghost of "first wife past". However, I know he loves Zahara, and I know he wants to be a good father to his babies with Noemy. Today's post was a step in the right direction for him, but he's not done making missteps, I'm afraid.
