Shin is one of those dolls who’s eyes color change if you dip him in ice water
Do not dip him in water!!
This is a very common misconception about caring for a Shin! Because of the blueish greenish tealish color of his hair and eyes and whatnot, many will assume a Shin loved water. However, Shins struggle to regulate their body heat, as seen by their tendency to wrap themselves in beanies and scarves year-round. If you drop your Shin in ice water he will be unable to remain warm while drying off which can increase his likelihood of developing illness! Shins naturally have weak immune systems, so you must take very good care not to allow your Shin to partake in activities that will endanger him, such as exposing him to predators or the cold!
Remember: A Shin isn't a gift—it's a commitment that has been recorded to live over 20 years! Be responsible and take good care of your Shin.
