Any kind of creative work can be contributed: writing, art, manips, gifs, etc. Just no AI generations.

Prompts

You do not have to fill every prompt. There is an overall theme of a common omegaverse trope with 2 more specific prompts for each day. You may choose one of them, both of them, or something that fits the overall theme.

There are two floating prompts for the week that you can feature in any of your prompt fills or in place of any prompt, if you so desire.

Interpret the prompts however you like. There are no set omegaverse rules you have to follow in order to participate, and you may assign the A/B/O genders however you wish (ie your pairing does not have to be Alpha Qui-Gon/Omega Obi-Wan).

QuiObi Secret Santa 2022

The QuiObi Secret Santa 2022 is a holiday gift exchange event of fanfiction or fanart. All participants will receive matches based on their preferences and will create gifts for each other. It's a Secret Santa, so don't reveal your recipient early!

Timeline

Sign-ups open: Monday, October 3rd Sign-ups close: Friday, October 21st Matches by: Sunday, October 23rd Creation period: Friday, October 23rd-December 16th Deadline: Friday, December 16th Pinch-hit period: Saturday, December 17th-Friday December 30th Works revealed: Saturday, December 31st Creators revealed: Sunday, January 1st

Sign-Up Form

Once the form is open tomorrow, you will be able to access it here. Once the sign-up period ends, AO3 will use an algorithm to match everyone based on their preferences.

Rules

1. Minimum requirements are at least 500 words for fic (complete) and a clean sketch on unlined paper (or digital art equivalent) for art.

2. Respect your assigned recipient's dislikes and rating preferences.

3. Please no underage content.

4. Don't publicly discuss your creation until after the exchange. Assignments should remain secret until the creator reveal on January 1st.

5. Please do not crosspost your work until after the creator reveal on January 1st.

6. You can post by navigating to the 'Assignments' section of your AO3 dashboard, clicking on 'QuiObi Secret Santa 2022' and selecting 'Fulfill'.

7. All assignments should be posted by December 16th. You will be able to edit your assignment during the pinch-hit period, but the work must satisfy minimum requirements by the deadline.

8. If necessary, extensions may be obtained by contacting the mods at our email address. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

9. If you cannot finish your gift, please default. You can do so by navigating to the 'Assignments' section of your AO3 dashboard, clicking on 'QuiObi Secret Santa 2022' and selecting 'Default'.

10. If you default and your assigned creator also defaults, you will not receive a gift.

11. When a participant defaults, their assigned recipient becomes a pinch-hit. If you are interested in being a pinch-hitter, please let us know.
