Quipa
Here, In the unbroken beauty of time,
in a past that nobody knows when it began.
.
Nostalgic memories percolate at the poignant reminder of the evening light.
.
Doubts break through dawn fog,
trying to hazard the hope clasped to the palms of my hands.
.
And there it is, the oystercatcher with its orange-colored beak flying just above our heads.
.
Its loud piping whistle with a message perhaps from heaven itself:
Life doesn't warn, life doesn't wait.
