Laska is suddenly showing signs of resource guarding. If a dog, Nova included, comes close to her as food is given out, or water, ball, horn/bone, she'll try to snip at them. She's not overly aggressive about it, but it's definitely been developping and she's never done that before. What's even more worrying is that she's apparently snipped at my friend's dad when she had a bone. They've been away for the last few weeks so I wasn't around to see any potential triggers, and my friend says nothing has changed in terms of what they've done/how they've treated and behaved around Laska for the past year. The only thing she can think of is when her cat tried to eat Laska's food when she was patiently sitting a few weeks back.
Anyone ever experienced sudden resource guarding behaviors coming out of nowhere?
