@quixoticzed liked for a starter.
Who cared about a blade cut on the arm when he was more concerned about the bomb that was strapped to the cargo? Sure it was way out of his job scope to be hunting for lost vibranium on behalf of a country he didn’t belong to, but Everett valued allies as much as making sure bad apples didn’t ruin the day of typical Americans.
But God, right in the middle of a bustling city, on a toolbox containing the precious ore, right under a statue which the mayor probably wouldn’t appreciate destroying. He couldn’t call bomb disposal; this was a secret mission he personally took up. It would take a while for Okoye to send backup. He sniffed, looked down at his bleeding arm, and cast a quick scan of the area. It was seven p.m. The guy who cut him had probably scampered after realizing that he wasn’t kidding around with his gun. He couldn’t really just stand around either.
It was the only thing he could do though.
