So, exactly three years ago, on Valentine’s Day 2018, this blog was born. Time sure passes fast, doesn’t it? Keeping the Valentine theme, here is Julia, the ribbon girl from Sinnoh games, waiting patiently for her loved one in her house in Sunyshore. Who knows... maybe we will see her again soon?

The receptionist in the gate to Amity Square, as shown in the Diamond/Pearl Quiz Book (scanned by Pokescans of course - we miss you, Pacific!). Amity Square is one of those nice places in Sinnoh that I'm definitely looking forward to see in a potential remake. A somewhat "useless", yet comfy and relaxing location with an unique atmosphere that no other place in the Pokemon world has.

Hello, just when you least expect it! This is the only known representation of Cameron, the photographer from HeartGold & SoulSilver, who travels throughout Johto and Kanto (even to remote places like Mt. Silver) just to take you a photo with your Pokemon for your album. The picture comes from Pokemon game Quiz Encyclopedia series, namely the HGSS edition and was scanned by the amazing HiresPokemon team (here is the full page scan). These books are illustrated by Emiko Yoshino and feature questions about the details of Pokemon games. Unfortunately, we don’t get them any more - the last book was the XY one. These books were scanned almost completely by Pokescans (kudos to her), but there are still some missing pages that there were never posted there. Will we see more art from these books sometime? Just wait and see!

Trainer Class... Thursday. This time, a much-overlooked Trainer Class appearing only in Unova - Depot Agent.

Remember the gate guard from Goldenrod City, who gives you a Spearow named Kenya with a Mail to be delivered to his friend on Route 31? His name was Randy (in GSC) or Webster (in HGSS) (yeah, even the translation team didn’t care enough)...

I have him, too. Thanks to Pokescans, who scanned the HGSS Quiz Book (and other Quiz Books too, pity they’re not released anymore).

Who are they? This is the “Pep Quiz” family from Icirrus City in Unova. Aha (right), who asks questions and gives out items, Ditoh (middle) who asks for hints and Wye (left) who gives them. Answering their questions right gets you an Antidote, the wrong answer gets Parlyz Heal.

Yeah, that’s a really... pointless element of the game.
