I don't care how many ads I'd have to see instead, do not put Quizlet behind a paywall when it's most useful for children who do not have the jobs to affort a goddamn subscription to digital flashcards.

What am I paying for? Their entire database is filled by user-entry and *we* aren't getting paid to do the hard work.

As someone who struggles with just using anki due to attention issues, I've found it really helpful to copy my decks to quizlet and use the match function to familiarise myself with vocab and then going to anki and memorising the words and their articles properly

My students have to learn their vocab through Quizlet and someone now pointed out that it feels deeply dystopian to watch ads in between their homework....
