in conclusion to the «» nonsense

i’ll stop using  «» for my dialogues since people apparently have never seen those quotation marks in their lives before and have no idea what they mean, and i’ll stick with “” instead which lowkey sucks because that means i either have to write on computer all the time or copy and paste the symbols lolll but its ok

for those of you who don’t know:  «» are quotation marks, apparently only used in norway which is where i’m from, and i was really out here thinking everybody knew what they meant when they were used in dialogues bUT OH WELL

what are arrow quotations?

basically these «» guys that people get confused by everytime i use them, but they just so happen to be the only quotation marks on my keyboard on my ipad, instead of the ""

The arrows are used instead of quotation marks when speaking French also! I think it depends on what language you are writing in / what country you are in etc.
