“I can see why you would, honestly…” Kirin looked around at the small disaster that managed to unfold before their eyes as three people in front of them slipped over the slippery patch on the floor. Himchan was in the middle of putting up signs for people to be careful, but the qilin just had to talk to him at that very moment. And now they were witnessing the consequences of that small selfishness. Kirin did all he could to look guilty but in truth a few gleams of pure glee managed to shine through his dim features. While he did feel bad for the unfortunate souls scrambling around on the floor trying to gather up the remnants of their dignity, he couldn’t help but to find it so horribly funny.
An incoherent string of words were grumbled under his breath, not nearly as pleased with the situation as the qilin. Sure, if it was not at his work place, under his watch, he would have been howling in laughter, but that was not the case. If his manager happened to see, or the customers filed complaints, Himchan knew it would not be too long until he lost his job at the music store. Maybe he did not need the paper money, but it was his goal to act as human as was possible for him. “I thought you were a good luck charm.” He mumbled grumpily, moving towards the site of the spill only after the people were a distance away from it.
