It was no secret he could be beyond extra as hell at times. And him tripping and falling on his ass was no exception. He glanced toward his fiancee with a frown since despite her statement seemed highly amused by what had just taken place. “I could have broken my damn leg, babe.” He said before slowly getting back up to his feet. He wasn’t hurt, but just to get her to show a little more concern he faked as if he was more hurt than he really was. “I think it might be sprained.”

Nate had been taking some time off from work, focusing on his family. He always made sure his family was his number one, and with that in mind, today was going to be a family fun day. Talia was playing with Julian in the backyard, as Nate and Brie were fixing up some lunch for all of them. “I think I may had added too much mayo on this side of the bread...you think T would be okay with it? Or should I suffer and make this my sandwich instead?” He questioned with a laugh. “I mean, if it was up to her, we would be having princess toast for lunch and not these kinds of sandwiches. And we would be having ungodly amount of soda too...I don’t think my body can handle all of it. I just can’t! I’m getting too old for all of this, babe.”

Richard was heated as he leaned up against the wall reading the script for the night.

“I’ve never hated something so much in my fuckin’ life. It’s like they’d rather have me in a cage and dancing for these idiots instead of actually letting me be creative. I mean fuckin’ christ if I wanted to be put in a box I would’ve been making a shit ton more if I took over the family business.” Richard’s jaw was clenched as he crumpled up the paper into a wall.

“I swear if I stay here I’m gonna be ten feet under before three months have even passed.” Richard said as he looked over at Charlotte with a frown.

“Maybe I should go throw this script at Vince’s head and quit. Mox seems to be having fun over at AEW and New Japan. Maybe WWE isn’t this great place I always pictured it to be.”

Edward was still recovering from the pillow that was thrown at him, but he had his plans. He was going to toss a pillow in her direction, just to make sure it was even between them. But, before he could make another move, Pancake was then in his face. All he could do was to put to down the pillow, backing down as he sighed. “You know me too well,” he laughed. “You know I can’t use the pillow against you now. But, it doesn’t mean I’m not out of ideas.” He got up from the bed for a minute, to go get some dog treats for Pancake. Devious, perhaps, but it also meat that Leah couldn’t use him. “Hey, Pancake, look what I got!” Edward then started to shake the small bag of treats, looking over at Leah.

becky couldn’t help but swallow back her words. she’d promised the blonde that she’d be more careful -- especially after a knee injury this time last year -- and she looked down at her hands to fill the space between the scolding of the other woman and sighed. all she wanted to do was rebuttle about how mania was always a big deal, she’d be fine and that it was just another kick to the ribs, but she didn’t. ashley had heard it all from her before so she just took another deep breath and apologized again.

“ i’m sorry, “ she said again, still avoiding the blondes green gaze, “ i just -- you know i can’t say no -- “ she said, finally looking up, “ i can’t let vince and hunter protect me anymore. if i don’t go out there and fight... why am i even here? “

Paul and Shawn had just finished going over the NXT road loop schedule when he heard his phone ping, signaling that someone had messaged him. The executive raised an eyebrow when he saw that it was Brie who texted him. “Hang on, man, let me see what this is.” Paul unlocked his phone and scanned the message, hardly believing what he was seeing. The last time he and Brie had spent more than two days together was Thanksgiving-- and Paul was beginning to miss her. “You’re not gonna believe this-- Brie flew down here.” He spoke to Shawn before turning his attention back to his phone.

     It had been a while since Nattie spent time with Ash outside of the ring, outside of        work in general actually. That didn’t change the fact that the younger blonde was        one of her favorite opponents, one of her closest friends and one of her favorite         people to be around. “Ewwww, you’re so ugly when you pout like that, saucy!”         she scrunched her face, knowing it wasn’t the first time Ashley used it to her         advantage, and it wouldn’t be the last. “Alright fine!
