Thanks for asking! My lightning bulb moment was while this one character I have is creating this portal loop for an object to get thrown into to protect it from evil it's gonna be this character's love that actually goes through but the REALLY tragic part is that this character is immortal and has been forgotten for millennia but just got back into the public eye again but now being sucked into this portal she will continue living on and being forgotten AGAIN ...until the epilogue

Oh my GODS that is brutal! I love it!

I'm so curious about how these portals work. Are they like a one way street? How does she get out? Why was she forgotten? Does anyone look for her? Many questions!

Storyteller Saturday! Tell me which characters are the easiest and most difficult to write for you!

Most of my characters come pretty easily, as they’re all just pieces of myself I wanted to explore a little deeper.  The easiest would just be whoever I’ve been working with most recently, so Gil and Tybee in this case.

The hardest are ones with complicated backstory/world building, so characters like Seth, who is millenia old, get a little trickier cause I always feel like I’m missing something.

I don’t X’D

My process is very much a “Hmm... what sounds fun?” and then I write that. When I get stuck, I usually jump to whatever more fun idea I have kicking around. If I do make the attempt to plot, I talk the story out with my wife, who very lovingly makes us an outline, which I try to stick to but then wander off to a new idea :P
