Ok so. Wizard of Oz, a dream within a dream, angle discussion of TNN:
So TNN is 2D writing about the current events of the plot (the now) in an almost meta, psychic perspective. Like, he writes Humility from Murdoc’s perspective without even really knowing that that’s how Murdoc feels and he writes about forgiving Murdoc before he’s even decided to do that because the album (as suggested by Damon and Russel) is kind of a “dream”... But like Russel said and with the Wizard of Oz references: it’s a dream 2D is going to wake up from and be sad it isn’t real. The album is working its way back to Murdoc... but what if Murdoc isn’t there when he gets to the end? What if Murdoc really does die in some epic redemptive battle? What if we never get a chance to see Souk Eye happen in the plot? Souk Eye isn’t JUST about forgiveness, it’s about a final resolution. “I wanna stay with you, I wanna be stone.” That’s his dream... That he’ll have to wake up from...
Ok but considering a lot of canon evidence (such as his own words in that reddit q and a) I’m pretty sure 2D could qualify as legally blind and I wish that people would consider that stuff

Thank you for the tag @jaygirl987!! I actually remembered to look at tags; which are remarkably poorly done even for tumblrs, so I caught this in record time (for me). However, I’m still GoT tipsy, so I’m totes q-ing this bad boy too~~~
My questions: 1. What’s one memory that you’ll always treasure? I’m the last of my maternal line so pretty much everything with any of them~
2. Shower or bath? BATHS!!! And before bed like a civilized person. (Plus I can’t safely shave my legs in the shower…my freshman year in a dorm was…unpleasant)
3. Ever play in the rain (even as a kid)? As long as there are no thunders/tornado watches~ I even hike in the rain if there isn’t a flash-flooding watch (central Texas k)
4. What’s one accomplishment that you’ll always be proud of? Landing my job. I don’t want to shock anyone, but apparently political science degrees aren’t particular lucrative….
5. Any friendships that you miss? I miss my FFXI friend group. I didn’t do my part to keep in touch~
6. What’s your favorite topping on pizza? artichokes!
7. To the movie theater or watch it at home? OMG home….but I I try to go “regularly” because husband loves it

9. Are you claustrophobic? Not exactly; but I don’t like being close to *people* in small spaces (re elevators)

11 What’s one thing about yourself (physical or personality) that you’d never change? Yeesh, this is far easier the other way around. I’m a ridiculous perfectionist so I’m not sure I can answer this. I enjoy my own company I guess? I mean everything can always be better >.> 強くなりたい！

1. What part of a kid’s movie completely scarred you for life? The beginning of Up. Always the beginning of Up.
2. What’s the most ridiculous fact you know? I think the one that has scarred people I know the most is that John Denver was a horrible person. The larger question is why that many people I know give any fucks about John Denver.
3. How do you feel about putting pineapple on pizza? I feel like putting pineapple on pizza is not an “invention” someone should be celebrated for posthumously (still bitter npr)
4. What would you name your boat/ship if you had one? Penis. If you own a boat/ship that’s the point anyway, right? Plus, endless conversational entertainment. I would at least use an appropriately scroll-y font
5. Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life? OMG Naho Takamiya from Orange.
6. What’s your pet peeve? At the moment Naho Takamiya from Orange…but more generally being interrupted. Not the natural kind; where everyone is excited/into the conversation and trying to talk at once…but the Special Girl Type. Growing up in small town Texas without #4 (boat or appendage) one would think you would get used to it….but nope.
7. What’s the one food you can never bring yourself to eat? Durian. Like, I’ll try most anything and I GET that it’s literally the best thing in Breath of the Wild; but I refuse to taste anything that smells like that.
8. What is the scariest movie you have ever seen? Probably the Ring? I don’t watch scary movies much
9. Which of the seven dwarfs is most like you? This was always my Least Favorite Disney Classic so I’m not super familiar with them. Maybe Sleepy? Brainy maybe? I’m pretty sure that’s a smurf?
10. If you could ask the President one question, what would it be? LBR, attempting to ask questions, even in a fictional scenario, is a waste of everyone’s time.
11. When you’re having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better? I usually study myself out of it. If it’s bad because of stress (more likely) I will listen to a Yona episode or Autumn Leaves WHILE I study out of it. If it’s because of actual sadtimes then Michael will usually sneakily start playing Stardust, The Last Unicorn or Pride and Prejudice (HOW DARE YOU JEN) depending on what he estimates my sadness level to be at. (All of these things are on my iPad for emergency travel/work situations)
