Camelot was pale and frightened looking, but was making a huge effort to hide this, looking up at the other. He’d been close to death many times, and all those times seeed to return to his brain now, scaring him slightly more. He took a deep shaking breath, hoping that this would steady him. It did. A shower of coldness washed over his emotions.

“I know,” he said. “What does it matter?”
