The weather had been a pain in the ass as of late. The heat was unbearable and Star was never one for hot weather. Which, in turn, forces her to take her school work to the local library. It wasn’t exactly the most ideal place to study, but at least they had air conditioner.
She steps inside the building and sighs in content as the cool air hit her warm skin. Shifting the books she holds in her arms, she goes in search for an empty table to sit at. However, it seems that every other damn student in the country decided to flock to this library and, after 15 minutes of looking, she’s about to give up. She contemplates on just going home, but the mere thought of having to walk in the heat makes her feel light headed. A wave of irritation hits her and she takes a deep breath before she goes to look for a spot once again.
It takes a few more minutes of wandering, but soon she stumbles upon an empty spot at a table. There’s another sitting there and her shy nature immediately kicks in. She takes a few moments to steel her nerves and, once she’s done so, she makes her way to the table. Clearing her throat, she asks, “Can I sit here?”
Fingers drum against the wooden table, creating a somewhat pleasant contrast against the flurry of flipping pages and pens scratching against paper in notebooks. Even so, Jiwon still found it hard to focus on the endless amounts of Greek terms and vocabulary littering the page.
A sigh escapes his lips as he shuts the textbook, ruffling his hair as he looks around before opening another one. He's just attempted to immerse himself in boring equations when the sound of chair legs scraping against the ground grated against his ears. The raven-haired male looks up, blinking once, then twice before finally reacting.
"Oh, yeah, sure," he offers a small smile, nodding at the seat. "Everyone seems to be cramming," he adds on as an afterthought, glancing around once more.
