“Oh so you recognized this was about you, hm? You’re not even bothering to be subtle.” He didn’t bother to conceal his amusement.

By… By God?! {’ wrinkles her nose and gives the taller male a stiff stare } I think you’ve got the wrong person, I– {’ looks down, unconsciously placing a hand on her stomach } I’m not a mother?!?! {’ frowns, wondering if she’d m maybe had a little too much to eat for breakfast earlier that day }
Always hurting your son like this... -he leans forward to rub the bridge of her nose lightly as if to ease the wrinkles before glancing down at her stomach- Are you hiding something from me? Am I to have a younger sibling soon? -he had a hunch that she wasn’t fond of the conversation, but this was a better ice breaker than anything else he could think of-

“Why? Maybe because we are friends? And come on, these clown costumes aren’t so bad. Don’t you really want to make those kids happy?” With that Junhong reached out to pinch his round, red nose and leaned onto his friend. “Now help me get that wig on!”
“You don’t even like clowns.” Minwoo mumbled under his breath as he turned to look for the said wig, which looked like nothing a human should be forced to suffocate his scalp with. “You’re going to regret this.” The older man stared at Junhong, giving him a last chance to change his mind before the plastic smelling material ends up engulfing his head. “Who said children even like clowns?”
Nameless!
Chad Smith, 26 years old, born and raised in north England, and working as a clockmaker in a shop on Petticoat Lane. The man whose name was Chad as of that moment bowed in front of his superior and picked the documents confirming his new identity before setting off to his new mission.
It was early winter, snow was to be expected at any given moment, and the roads were almost empty after eight O’clock except for certain alleys that were frequented by both outlaws and officials alike. Chad was standing next to one of those alleys, smoking a cigarette as instructed while awaiting the sign. Mr. Alfred Jones was to be found in one of those brothels hidden in the dark alleys, but Chad’s mission did not concern Mr. Alfred as much as it concerned the person who is tagging the mentioned man. A green folder with a red label was thrown across the table to the end where the Lieutenant was sitting in a meeting that lasted the past two hours. “It’s been moved under your name now, Lieutenant General.” Minwoo looked up to the woman who was talking to him then picked the file to have a look at the first page, a large red rectangle stamp across the page covered parts of the writing on the paper. He leaned back in his seat, a sigh leaving his lungs.
“Lieutenant!”
The man in uniform stood up and saluted the woman before forcing his body to carry its weight out of the soundproof room under the gazes of his superiors and other officials. It was a burden. Whenever a case like this was assigned to him, it meant the issues presented were only the tip of the iceberg they are trying to keep hidden. In the past, they always had him tailed, because he had a history of letting the subjects of investigation free. Today, the situation was different, he was running the whole department of special operations. He had to be sly with his ways if he was going to help her.
Jinah!
“No birth date, no family history, no data on any relatives or origins. If that file didn’t scream fishy in the same boldness of the red stamp then I wonder how can anyone be so blind”, he thought.
“This is the footage, sir.” The soldier announced as he stepped for Minwoo to watch even though he did not need to since the screens covered half of the wall. It was the umpteenth time Minwoo watched the videos, and it made him sick, but he had to mask how he felt. “We’ll start from there. I want a detailed report on all the patrol on that day and the footage from the surrounding areas. It might take us somewhere.” @synthvtic
Yet, another victim of a domineering government! What did they do to her?
❛ i’m freezing cold. ❜

Yixing blinked, looking over at the female but he bit down on his lip. At first he had thought that she was talking to someone else but when he looked up at her, he noticed that she was indeed talking to him… Or at least he thought so. “Uh…” He opened his mouth to speak but end up fumbling over his words, causing his cheeks to redden. “I have a scarf you can borrow…?” he suggested, fidgeting with his camera before he looked at the girl again. “But but if you are really really cold, I think- I think you should go inside.”

in. out. in. out.
Yixing squeezed his eyes shut as he ventured down the dimly lit hallway, trying his best to appear calm but failed miserable. He took solace in the fact that it was probably too dark for the stranger next to him to notice just how shaken up the art student really was. Yixing could not believe he had actually went into a haunted house on his own free will and realized far too late that he had been tricked. “H-Ha… this.. this isn’t even scary” Yixing mumbled out, trying to act the part, not wanting the tall stranger to get the wrong impression of him. Maybe if he kept talk he would forget about his current situation and not make a fool out of himself. “Uh.. so.. uhm.. how long do you think it’ll be until they find us?”
