in spite of how their relationship began and grew, clary fray LOVED simon -- as a friend and possibly, a lover. the idea had crossed her mind various times and often would push it aside; it would be highly impossible that simon felt the same way towards her... in her half-asleep and awake state, clary moved her hand up simon’s thigh and sliding it up his shirt, touching the bare skin that was present there. it was all a dream... wasn’t it? small hand continuing to move up further, it came to a stop when clary heard simon call out her name.

“hm...?” her head was rested upon his shoulder where they fell asleep on his couch watching some cheesy horror film she had insisted they tend to. well that plan failed... raising her head, she began to process the current situation and in realizing that what she was doing WASN’T at all a dream and instead was reality, clary pulled her hand out from his shirt and slid down to the other end of the sofa. “oh my g--” she broke off, embarrassed at what she had been doing. turning a bright red, her green eyes moved away so that she didn’t have to meet his own gaze. “i am so sorry, simon. i thought i -- you --”
