Anyways, NEW OC!! It's name is R-ex, they're a tv creature that has multiple glitches in them, causing them to glitch out at random times, but he doesn't mean it. Also, he uses he/it pronouns since he's not fully that gender as he's a demiboy. (2nd image are eye and mouth expressions.)

Process within the editorial team

Boy! ! It felt like lightning! I had fun during this project though. We were a group that got along fine; the basic idea for the alumni database quickly came to be. 

My role during this assignment was being the note taker. I took this pretty serious, since we could use the notes and the visual database as a red thread through our design process. As the project was evolving we concluded that everyone had his/her own page so we were all the designers of the website. 

During this assignment I learned that being in a team means that you have to communicate amongst one another. We all agreed on the theme of the database and the name, but personally I had some trouble in designing the website. When I told this to the group, they helped me out, and set me in the right direction.

I learned that if you make a database you should start by organizing the items you want to have in the database. Organizing is everything!!!  The way we worked was a bit too chaotic for me. We went from the idea to the people, back to the idea, and to the contest.  I learned that if I have to make a database I need a bit more structure, and maybe even a bit more research into the aspect of a database. I had the feeling sometimes I was drowning in the work we still had to do. 

Still I’m really happy with the outcome of the project.

The Print it yourself TADA! magazine

We decided that we should have a physical form of the magazine as well as an online form. This would be represented by the PIY-magazine (a magazines lay-out which fills up if you like things on the tada website, or you can drag them into the magazine). This magazine would be printable from the comfort of your own home, and lazy chair.

Meeting with Anja on April Fools

Hieronder ziet u het verslag van de bespreking met Anja en wat tips die we hebben gekregen van haar, nadat we onze ideeën aan haar presenteerden. We waren hier een klein beetje vastgelopen.

NAME EVERYTHING FIRSTLY 

BORIS The Randomness from Boris his page is not random enough. Think about what the randomness does, and what it communicates Maybe an automated random refresh response. Being a little bit more straightforward. Being a little bit more radical, or explicit. Maybe have a 5 second slideshow with works from different designers? WORLD FULL OF RANDOMNESS! EXPLORE MUCH FURTHER Try out ten different sketches. (content popping up?) find ten topics with visual solution to these topics. 

LEANDRO Tag System Hovering is pretty unhandy, no mouse over you see? So it wouldn’t work on phones or ipads or something. Pop-up things so you get tempted to click and enter the random world. Maybe the TAG DROPDOWN menu a little bit bigger?   SEE HOW THINGS ARE CONNECTED. Archive with complete view of the content but no hierarchical view. 

BAS The alumni page/ profile page, could consist of connections between multiple people. And from there on we can work out multiple pages 

JUDITH Clear concept. Curious about the case. In a way creating a wireframe. DOING IT Is it enough to actually create this?
