What is your favourite childhood memory? Why is it your favourite?
“My father taught me everything that I know about Wizarding Chess since I was nine. During our first real match against him I lost, miserably actually, which eventually was the trend. Loss after loss after loss. I never thought I would win, but eventually I started replaying the strategies my father used which varied from the standard rules he taught me, and noticed that he usually played the same five tactics that would be easy to determine after the first seven moves. When I was ten I finally beat him at the game, which surprised him since not many knew his patterns. Of course it was rather short lived since any time we played a game since then we usually have to call it a draw. It’s one of my favorite memories because it showed me that when I put my mind to it I can formulate and determine a pattern in someone and execute a plan that will lead to satisfactory results. But also because it is one of the few things that I can share with him that no one else in the family is able to.”
Do you think the Sorting Hat put you in the right house? Why or why not?
“Considering that there was a hatstall when the Sorting Hat was placed on my head, I want to put my confidence in the Hat, that they made the correct choice of placing me in Ravenclaw. I believe the fact that my mother was placed in one house, it eventually decided that I should be placed in another house, despite apparently having strong qualities of both my house and Gryffindor.”
What are your career plans after school?
“After I graduate from Hogwarts I plan on training to become an Auror for the Ministry of Magic. From there I’d want to earn my way to become the Head Auror, with my sights eventually on becoming the Minister of Magic! While those are my ambitions, I am also committed to helping and protecting those of Muggle ancestry because they deserve to have a better voice at the table. With every day that passes it seems as if we as a society cannot let go of our draconian views of the Muggles. If we can accept what was once thought of as the children’s tale of the Deathly Hallows, then we can come around and acknowledge that there are some people in the muggle communities that can and do inherit magic naturally.”
Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe?
“While I am at school the library is my safe haven. I can spend all my time in there just immersing myself in various topics spanning all throughout known history. While I am away from school grounds I feel safest with my family, my parents and sister, and my friends.”

What is your favourite childhood memory? Why is it your favourite? "My favourite memory is probably when mum and dad renewed their vows. It was a lovely, romantic day, and one of the last times I saw my mum before she passed.. I’ll cherish it forever.“

What are your career plans after school? “I don’t have any, not yet. I’m rich, I don’t really need career plans.”
Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe? “Our place back in France. Dad doesn’t like going home often, but he’s hung onto it for me to inherit when I’m of age. Sometimes I go back on breaks from school; being there just makes me feel closer to her, takes me back to happier times.”

What is your favourite childhood memory? Why is it your favourite? “Back when Dad was around, he, uh, came home the day before Christmas. Had this shite-eating grin on his face. I can still just, you know, picture it: him with his hands behind his back, snow still sprinkled on his jacket. Starts telling me how he couldn’t wait and pulls out this watch. It was too big for me then but, fuck, if I didn’t wear that thing damn near every minute. I dunno. It was nice, definitely nicked it from some ministry worker or somethin’. I just, you know, like looking back on that, remembering that stupid face of his. It wasn’t a face I got to see often and now, well… Yeah. Part of why I always loved Christmas.
Do you think the Sorting Hat put you in the right house? Why or why not? “Don’t see what else I’d be. Not exactly the, uh, patient kind type for Hufflepuff, am I? Resourceful, though— well, that’s a nice way to put it, ain’t it? But sounds about right.”
What are your career plans after school? “Always kinda thought why fix what isn’t broken? Sell stuff now and that’s been working well nice. Work it right, pro’ly open my own shop. Like a cross between Borgin and Burkes and one of those muggle thrift shops. I mean, let’s be real. I’m never going to be an auror or a future minster. Best to stick at what I’m good at. It’s in my blood, really.”
Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe? “Alright… this is strange. Don’t go ‘round telling no one, okay? But I always sort of liked the potions storeroom. Shut the door and it’s just four walls, really. No watching your back, nothing. Any closet will do that, yea, but there’s some cool ingredients in there. You ever watch bouncing blub jump around in a jar? Or even see fairy wings up close? There’s a lot to take your mind off the other shite.”

Activity level: I work a full time job serving and, honestly, usually work overtime. I am also headed into winter, which should mean my hours will cut down but I don’t fully know what to expect. In the past, I usually at the very least check in every day or so, even if I can’t do replies. I would expect on average I would actively be roleplaying three days a week, with some weeks less and others more. Also depends on the level in which I connect with the roleplay. What is your favourite childhood memory? Why is it your favourite? When mum and dad brought Lucy home, of course! I was quite young, but I was thrilled to be a big sister nonetheless. I love her with everything in me, I’d do anything for her. That’s what big sisters are for, I reckon.
Do you think the Sorting Hat put you in the right house? Why or why not? I absolutely do! I’m never happier than I am in class or participating in the clubs I’ve signed up for. I have to stay vigilant, focused, and driven; Ravenclaw’s a good place for me to do so.
What are your career plans after school? I hope to go into a position at the ministry. I’m not quite sure which branch, but it’s certainly been a dream of mine for the longest time.
Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe? The astronomy tower. If you hit it at the right time, you’re up there all along, with no one but your thoughts for company. That’s how I like it most days, as I find things can get pretty overwhelming with my busy schedule.

What is your favourite childhood memory? Why is it your favourite?
“It would have to be when my parents got me my first sketch book when I was eight years old. I had art supplies that were given as gifts like pens, colored pencils, paint brushes and canvases but there was something about a sketch book. It felt amazing to have everything go in one place that way I can see how I can improve from the first page to the last. It gave me something I could easily carry around and keep with me to sketch out any idea that comes to mind. I still keep one with me to this day.”
Do you think the Sorting Hat put you in the right house? Why or why not?
“I really think that it did. I trusted that it would put me where I really belonged. But at the same time I really came into Hogwarts still trying to wrap my mind around being a witch so I didn’t give myself a chance to really know enough to question it. Plus as cliche as it sounds, I tend to find that things tend to work out exactly how they are meant to. So if I got put into the Hufflepuff house, I was meant to be there.”
What are your career plans after school?
“What a tough question, it always gets me. I feel like there are a lot of things I want to do but I know it would be important to narrow things down now. But if I have to choose it would be be something that has to do with art. Maybe I could own my own art gallery or even teach some art classes. It has always been such a significant part of my life, if it could become my career that would be even better.”
Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe?
“It would have to be a tie between being with my friends and family or the Hufflepuff common room. There is something about all of them that make me feel a certain sense of safety and security. It took awhile but I am glad that I finally have safe places in and out of Hogwarts. After that it really made this school feel like home.”

“I’d love to work for the Ministry,” Lucinda answered with an easy smile, twisting her wand between her fingers. “Work my way to the top. I’m not aiming for anything paramount, though.”

“The Forbidden Forest. It’s quiet, nobody ever goes there—of course, I don’t go at night,” Lucinda added, laughing, “I suppose it doesn’t make a difference, considering the further you trek, the darker it gets. As long as you don’t disturb the centaurs and the spiders, it’s quite peaceful.”

Asher sighed heavily and shrugged his shoulders “Childhood? Uhh… Probably getting my hogwarts letter.” he answered shortly, it wasn’t like he had many happy memories growing up and honestly while he knew he was gonna get his letter he was still ecstatic when it came. Hogwarts was his way out of his house and he had wanted that since as far back as he could remember.
2. Do you think the Sorting Hat put you in the right house? Why or why not?
“I mean, honestly, I didn’t really care and I still don’t” Asher answered. Both of his parents had been in Slytherin but he really couldn’t have cared less what house he ended up in, just that he ended up in one. He was happy enough to be at Hogwarts, he wasn’t gonna be picky about houses because as far as he was concerened it was just buying into stupid sterotypes if you gave a shit. “I think I fit in well enough with Ravenclaw, so, sure.”
3. What are your career plans after school?
“I want to be a cursebreaker.” Asher answered quickly, for the first time during these questions he actually sounded like he had emotions. “I did really well on my O.W.Ls and I did just as well in my classes last year so assuming I keep it up I’ll get the N.E.W.Ts I need for it too, that’s my goal anyway, if that doesn’t work out I guess… I don’t know. It’s gonna have to work out.”
4. Where is one location that never fails to make you feel safe?
God, what even was safe? He couldn’t honestly think of a time he felt 100% safe, even though Hogwarts made him feel so much safer than his home did he still had that feeling in the pit of his stomach that something could go wrong or that something could hurt him. He’s never been without that feeling. “The Ravenclaw common room.” he answered finally, it wasn’t the truth but it was as close to it as he could get.
