While Stella had absolute faith in him to take care of her, she worried for his well-being, as she was inept in being able to take care of him should he ever need it. He fidgeted with the ring on his finger, a tell indicating his own apprehension, and Stella wished with all her heart that she was as good with people as he was, knew what words to say to dispel a situation or bring some reassurance. Wish she knew what to say to bring a smile to his face as well. But she was lacking, and he deserved someone with a more open and genuine heart to laugh and joke with him.
