What is your greatest fear? (rusty)
Rusty is horrified of being left alone. The concept is strange to him- as he's well aware he'll never be alone for real, but the lingering worry that he'll be the only person in a house far too large for one man, haunted by the life he led growing up and bears the lingering scars of to this day. It's in part the reason he's so upset about the way he and Sissy are fighting, as he's convinced this may be the precursor to her deciding she doesn't need him around anymore- that she'll move out, and eventually decide she's better off without him around entirely- he knows it's irrational- that a rough patch does not indicate the complete and utter failure of a relationship- especially one as close as his fatherly one to Genesis, but, prone to fear and already stressed, rationality tends to falter within him, allowing things like anger- and the very fear he's trying to push away- to take a much firmer root.
