I really enjoyed this film. I love Redford and Newman and they were great in this. The story line was strong and unpredictable - though I still don’t understand the point of the Loretta character and who she was affiliated with or anything. But other than that, easy watch, great music and all round good film.

I’m the last of 4 kids so if my older siblings didn’t like a film, I didn’t watch it. This film is an example of that so at the age of 21 I watched Wizard of Oz for the first time. It’s obviously a very popular film so it’s not like I didn’t know the story or the songs but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole witch melting by accident was a bit shit though but other than that Judy you talented thing and her little comrades too #squadgoals. Also Toto is the same dog as Bright Eyes and I loved him even more than I did before.

I really loved this film but defs knew Eve was a sneaky biznatch from the start - opening scene I could just feel it. Well acted though - I think it was some of the best ‘drunk acting’ I’ve seen in any film by Bette Davis while talking to Max in the kitchen at her party. Relatable. Also god bless Bill. A random Marilyn pops up too?

I loved this film! I thought it was hilarious. It had some great one liners from several of the characters especially Arthur (His whole moose bit was great) and Hobson. Hobson is a sarcastic fuck and I love him. Hobson is a big softy and I love him. It had quite a gilmore-esce feel to the comedy too, all the comebacks and quips etc. The comedic timing of everything was brilliant. It takes quite a sad turn near the end which is a huge contrast to the sarcastic, care free feel it has the majority of the time but still moulds in well.
