I’m unsure what to think of this film. I mainly enjoyed it, it had a feel of seven brides to it which I liked and the dancing was really good. However I didn’t really like the singing...ENUNCIATE PEOPLE. I couldn’t understand the lyrics and the Harry Beaton song sounded a lot like Hairy Beaver. Probably my lowest rated musical of all time :/

2x22, I Can't Get Started (2002)  Christopher and Lorelai joke about referencing the movie while teasing Jackson about wearing a kilt. CHRISTOPHER: When Jackson came out holding that kilt – man, I felt for him. LORELAI: I know, so did I. CHRISTOPHER: Please, I saw what your face was doing. LORELAI: What? What was my face doing? CHRISTOPHER: It was counting up how many Brigadoon references you could come up with to torture him with at a later date. LORELAI: How dare you accuse my face of that! My face is calling Gloria Allred when we get home. CHRISTOPHER: How many references? LORELAI: None. CHRISTOPHER: How many? LORELAI: Twelve, including a few bars of I’ll Go Home with Bonnie Jean. CHRISTOPHER: Well, I’m begging you, take plenty of pictures of this wedding because I have a feeling it’s gonna be a classic. LORELAI: You know, if you’re gonna be in town for the day, you should just come with us and. . .thanks. . .see all the fireworks for yourself. CHRISTOPHER: Okay. /.../ LORELAI: Well, then, it’s decided. You’ll come with me to Sookie’s wedding and you’ll make sure I stop one or two Brigadoon-isms shy of Jackson taking me out with a bagpipe. CHRISTOPHER: It would be my pleasure.
