Support 1D Solos/Win Music!!!
Acronym tag game!
OK so I’ve had fun recently attempting to tag things better, and you may have noticed my new tags. I decided to have some fun with this, so all of my new tags are acronyms of literary characters’ initials followed by the initials of the author who created them (quick example: Harry Potter created by J.K. Rowling would be HPJKR). I AM NOT SAYING that the character referenced completely represents whomever I have assigned them to, just that whichever character reminded me a bit of them (tried to exclude any demographics here- just going for personalities). I have chosen from some of my favorite popular novels, and I will give hints for each unless someone is truly on it and gets it right away. (eta: if you message me I will pretty much give you hints until you get it)
Now, your challenge, should you choose to accept it:
Figure out the person(s) represented by each tag (which should be fairly simple I think except possibly in one case, and I will be very lenient there), and then which character. Acronyms/bit of why I chose them are as follows:
AEJA: good heart, steadfast, bit melancholic, self-deprecating
(hint: I persuade you to figure this one out!)
OTDK: good heart, unshakeable, good sense of humor, optimist
(hint: The odds were against this character, but they remained strong.)
JVVH: good heart, misunderstood, brave face, intelligent
(hint: A lot of people around here think he’s fairly miserable lately.)
RBLMM: good heart, not actually frivolous, resourceful, creative
(hint: This character’s famous mother is popular again, eh?)
PPYM: good heart, mysterious, introspective, dreamer
(hint: Richard Parker really stole scenes from this character)
ACSC: secretly evil, powerful, corrupt, calculating
(hint: I really hate winter, but I suppose there are worse things than snow.)
(quick note about hints: may refer to the character, the real life person(s), or both- and these are just to get you going- will happily give you more!)
Why should you care? Besides the fact that puzzles and scavenger hunts are fun? Well, I will be offering a gift of any member (OT5) of 1D’s solo songs of your choosing from iTunes if you get everything right first! I’m limiting this to OT5 solos to show support for all of them. I am in the U.S., so all prizes must be redeemed from the U. S. iTunes store.
I will give gifts to the first 5 to answer everything correctly. 1st place: 5 songs, 2nd place: 4 songs, 3rd place: 3 songs, 4th place: 2 songs, 5th place: 1 song. If you’d prefer not to receive a gift, you may pass it on down the line, or choose to have someone else receive your song(s), so don’t let that stop you. You may also choose to hold off if a new song is forthcoming (c’mon, Louis!).
Rules: May reblog at will to spread the word (please do!) but all answers must be submitted to me and only me through my askbox (or messaging). You do not have to be following me, but you should bc I’m awesome. I’ll probably follow you back if I haven’t already. You’ll all just have to trust me that this will be fair. I have no reason not to be, so there’s that.
