On September 30, 2013, the "NISMO N Attack Package" was created, which packages the dedicated parts installed on the car when it achieved a lap time of 7:08.679 at the Nürburgring, improving on the previous GT-R best lap by more than 10 seconds, along with assembly at NISMO Omori Factory, a direct NISMO store, and other designated installation factories.

Two packages, A kit and B kit, are available to suit owner preferences. The extensive tuning carried out to make the car faster in sport driving brings even more performance and driving pleasure to the GT-R NISMO.

Initial Testing Report

A short trip to Road Atlanta, and a trip back to the drawing board, has ironed out a lot of the issues I felt were holding me back at Brands Hatch. A little more work on gearing is needed to get the car to sit in the powerband for longer and recover some of the pace I know the Chevy is capable of.

The destination of Round 5 is to be announced tomorrow (Monday 27th February), after which race testing can begin and hopefully some progress made towards being more competitive.

Overall, I’m very happy with the progress made since starting, and I remain hopeful to beat my results from Brands Hatch.
